Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand and power tools to perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations. Assemble and install plumbing equipment and fixtures according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, when necessary for projects. Operate power tools safely and effectively during plumbing tasks. Lift heavy materials as required for installations or repairs. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Experience



Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential. Ability to drive commercially is beneficial for transporting tools and materials as needed. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work is required.
