Undergraduate Admissions and Access Specialist

Salary from 42,679 to 51,000 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 54,730 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for 9 months from July 2025 - March 2026

LSE is the world's leading social science institution, which attracts students from all over the world. The Undergraduate Admissions Office manages the applications of over 30,000 applicants every year for a variety of degree programmes at the School.





An exciting opportunity has arisen offering you the opportunity to join this successful team. We would like to recruit a new Admissions and Access Specialist to work alongside six existing post-holders and the Undergraduate Admissions Team. You will work in conjunction with departmental admissions tutors in the selection of new undergraduates for a range of departments in the School. You will also take part in school and college liaison activity.





You should have experience of teaching at secondary school or FE level (although we will also consider applications from those with other relevant experience). In addition you should be able to make difficult decisions, have excellent communication and IT skills and be able to work, accurately and efficiently, as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. Experience of providing information, advice and guidance to UCAS applicants and knowledge of current issues which may have an impact on admissions in Higher Education are desirable.






This is a fixed term role (9 months: July 2025 to March 2026) with scope for flexible working.
