We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised plumbing tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to safety standards. Assist with carpentry or assembly tasks related to plumbing installations when necessary. Lift heavy materials safely and manage the movement of equipment around work sites. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts utilised for each project.

Skills

Proficiency in plumbing techniques and systems installation. Experience with welding and the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing components and systems. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams. Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects. Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labour in various environments. Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment between sites. Competence in assembly work as part of installation processes. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and punctuality. A background in commercial or industrial plumbing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
