Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing tasks effectively. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs proactively. Measure and cut pipes accurately using basic maths skills; assemble components with precision. Assist with the installation of mechanical systems related to plumbing infrastructure. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair work. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic carpentry skills. Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and associated equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transporting materials or equipment between sites. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks accurately. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety standards and possess excellent problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently.
