Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute installation projects accurately. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repair work. Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters or electricians when necessary for complex projects. Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials when required.

Qualifications



MUST BE GAS REGISTERED 5 years+ experience plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance roles. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems. Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimations. Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces. Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles (preferred) Own vehicle considered after 3 month probation period . Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are advantageous but not essential. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
