are recruiting a plumber.

We are seeking a plumber. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified plumber. Gas is an advantage. You will need to be able to carry out refurbishments and maintenance work confidentially, be able to work in a team, good at communicating with colleagues. You will ideally have at least 5 years' experience. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes. To be successful candidates must be experienced, highly motivated, quality conscious. hardworking and reliable.

Due to the nature of some of our work with clients in secure environments including HMP establishments and schools, all personnel are required to undergo appropriate DBS and security clearance checks.

Clean driving licence.

Main Duties:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. Perform soldering as necessary for pipe fittings and other installations. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Assemble and install plumbing equipment according to specifications. Carry out carpentry work related to plumbing installations when required. Execute heavy lifting tasks as needed for the movement of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure efficient project completion.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively. A commitment to health and safety standards in all aspects of work.
