Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our void property and reactive maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of plumbing, with a strong focus on kitchen and bathroom replacements, working with the public and problem solving in a reactive maintenance environment.

All works are carried out within the Shettleston area of Glasgow on properties managed by our parent organisation (Shettleston housing Association)

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances across Shettleston Housing Association's stock portfolio. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and secure plumbing components. Work collaboratively with our other trades and estates team to coordinate project timelines and ensure sour KPI's are met at all times. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation. Submitting this information via our mobile device platform (training will be provided).

Experience

City and Guilds Plumbing /heating qualifications or equivalent. Proven experience in plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of plumbing installation and repair processes. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery effectively. Valid driver's license

Pay: 17.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
