We're looking for a Level 2/3 qualified plumber/installer who's ready to hit the ground running and play a key role in delivering essential plumbing works across our properties.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, and we need someone who takes pride in doing the job properly -- someone who works efficiently, communicates well, and genuinely cares about the work they do in people's homes.
You'll be part of a small, supportive team, helping us maintain the safety, comfort and quality of the homes we manage.
What you'll be getting stuck into:
Installing radiators and domestic hot/cold water pipework, supporting the performance of our heating systems
Repairing, maintaining and fitting plumbing and sanitaryware in both occupied and empty homes
Following best practices to reduce Legionella risks -- your awareness in this area will be important
Using WRAS-approved products to keep works compliant and safe
(Ideally) working with larger diameter pipework (35mm & 42mm) -- useful, but not essential
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and professionalism when working in residents' homes
Keeping customers informed -- answering questions and making sure they feel confident about the work being done
Working alongside and supporting a Plumbing Assistant -- offering guidance where needed
