We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. Duties
Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Diagnosing plumbing issues through inspection and testing to determine appropriate solutions.
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete tasks accurately.
Reading technical drawings and blueprints to ensure correct installation and repair procedures.
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair work.
Conducting routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Assisting with carpentry or assembly tasks related to plumbing installations when necessary.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used for each project.
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including both domestic and commercial applications.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams.
Experience with carpentry or assembly work is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively over extended periods.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving purposes is desirable but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
