We are currently seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing and related skills, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising various tools and techniques to ensure efficient plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform plumbing tasks effectively. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using basic math skills for accurate measurements. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, applying carpentry skills as needed. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during projects. Operate commercial vehicles as required for transportation of tools and materials to job sites.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential. Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing assembly tasks is required. Basic math skills are necessary for precise measurements and calculations. A valid commercial driving licence is preferable for transporting equipment.
