Job Description

Water Hygiene Enigneer/Plumber required for water hygiene/legionella control works, with a mix between local & nationwide work. City & Guilds Level 2 plumbing qualification required as a minimum.

Tasks will include dead leg/dead end removal, replacement of flexible hoses to copper, upgrading cold water storage tanks in regards to insulation, fitting of lid and/or lid vents, fitting of screened overflows, TMV servicing & replacement. An unvented G3 certificate will be an advantage for this role, as would the experience and qualifications for RPZ valve maintenance, installation and replacement, although this is not essential. Successful candidate will also be required to assist with cold water tank cleaning, system disinfections and water sampling.

Occasional hotel stop overs (average 2 per month, often none) will be required from time to time and these are paid for by the business. Ability to work in a team, as well as on your own will be required, and candidates must have good organisational skills, as well as being able to compile clear & informative works reports.

Candidates will be expected to be organised, reliable, responsible for maintaining stock levels in vans of commonly used fittings etc

Pay: 29,000.00-36,000.00 per year
