Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team as a sub contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work efficiently in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.

Must Haves (Non negotiable)

10 years plumbing experience in general call out repairs, bathroom fitting Own van, tools and ladders, all required tools to complete the relevant works Able to use our job system app to complete job updates along with images Competent in health and safety. CSCS card minimum Willing to work in London and surrounding areas such as Surrey

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Full bathroom installations from start to finish to a high standard (Including framework, preparation and tiling) Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out plumbing tasks effectively. Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes and fixtures. Assemble and install piping systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently. Apply basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately. Drive commercial vehicles as needed to transport tools and materials to job sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose plumbing issues effectively. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience in carpentry is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands. A valid commercial driving licence is beneficial for transporting equipment between job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. If capable of undertaking general handy man and an array of other tasks will boost amount of hours per week required. Works such as, door repairs and handle replacements, window handle replacements, general maintenance in domestic properties, able to help other contractors on site, carpentry skills or experience in kitchen fitting Confident and previous experience in carrying out works in staffed offices
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 200.00-250.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
