We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and materials. The successful applicant will contribute to ensuring safe and efficient water and waste management systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Measure and cut pipes accurately using appropriate tools; assemble components with precision. Assist with the installation of mechanical systems related to plumbing infrastructure. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing work within residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe fitting, system troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate installations. Experience with carpentry is advantageous for custom fittings or structural modifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit to handle demanding tasks regularly. Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving is preferred but not essential.
