ISS is looking for a Plumber to join our team, delivering high-quality building maintenance services that support our clients and contribute to our wider mission of service excellence. This role is key in ensuring a consistent and reliable standard of work across our client properties.
You'll be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing and general building maintenance tasks across designated sites. This includes fault finding, repairs, routine maintenance, and new installations.
Whether working independently or as part of a wider team, you'll be expected to approach each task with professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
The role supports our goal of delivering a dependable and efficient maintenance service for all stakeholders, helping to ensure buildings remain safe, operational, and fit for purpose. You'll work across various locations, so flexibility and a proactive attitude will be important.

Key Responsibilities
Performs inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of plumbing systems
Fixes cracked pipes, clears blockages, and works at height when needed
Detects faults, dismantles systems, inspects parts, and tests equipment
Maintains complex systems like washers, compressors, and drainage units
Installs and repairs pipes, joints, valves, and backflow devices
Reads blueprints to plan, lay out, and test plumbing systems
Follows safety rules, building codes, and company policies
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experienced in mechanical building services maintenance and fault finding
Skilled in reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Worked in FM and building services for commercial properties
Follows strict Health & Safety procedures and protocols
Trained and competent in managing high-risk mechanical works
Able to assess situations and propose effective solutions
Proficient in installation, inspection, and testing of systems
