The Role

Due to continuous success here at Fortem, we are currently recruiting for a Plumber Multi to join our Birmingham Repairs team. This is a permanent position and the core working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm. If you take pride in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!

The Customer

You will be part of one of Fortem's largest Social Housing contracts, Birmingham City Council. This is an expanding 50m Repairs & Maintenance, Capital Works and Retrofit contract and the largest social housing contract in Europe. We are responsible for over 22,500 properties in the Birmingham area including low, medium and a significant number of high-rise blocks. This is a fast paced, focused and dedicated contract which we have been re-awarded 3 times and we are very proud to be able to support this exceptional client.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Plumber Multi responsibilities will include: o Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on social housing properties, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards. o Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, aiming for a 'First Time Fix' on all jobs to minimise follow-up visits. o Carry out installations, replacements, and servicing of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. o Work independently with minimal supervision while managing workloads effectively to meet budget and time constraints. o Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety guidelines and adhere to relevant legal and technical regulations. o Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with tenants about repairs and maintenance. o Stay updated with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulations to continuously improve skills and service quality.

What You Will Need

The Plumber Multi will meet the following requirements: Essential Criteria o NVQ/qualifications in relation to relevant trade (Plumbing) or experience in a similar role o Full UK driving licence (max 5 points) Desirable Criteria o Social housing experience
