Job Description

```Duties```
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Repair or replace broken or faulty plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, and water heaters
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and electricians to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
- Follow safety procedures and regulations when working on job sites

```Qualifications```
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for problem-solving
- Experience as a plumber or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
- Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and pliers
- Knowledge of different types of pipes and fittings used in plumbing systems
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and carrying of equipment or materials
- Ability to weld or solder pipes is a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license for commercial driving purposes is preferred

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Musselburgh, East Lothian: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Plumbing: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

CSCS (required) Driving Licence (preferred)
