Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and reliable

Plumber

to join our team, working on our

social housing maintenance contracts

across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. You'll carry out

responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and small installations

in occupied and void properties, ensuring residents receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in domestic properties Respond to emergency call-outs and ensure first-time fixes where possible Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and heating system faults Work collaboratively with other trades and the scheduling team Complete job reports and certification accurately using handheld devices Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and housing partners

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) (preferred, not essential) Proven experience in domestic plumbing, ideally within social housing Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Gas qualifications (ACS) -

advantageous but not essential

DBS check will be required

Can you complete any work outside of plumbing, such as basic carpentry, tiling, or decorating?
