St Leger Homes is an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages over 20,000 homes on behalf of The City of Doncaster Council.



We are looking for enthusiastic and committed plumbers to work within the Empty Homes Team.



The Empty Home Team are responsible for completing repairs in void properties. To ensure they meet the Lettable Standard in a timely manner, and are available for re-let at the earliest opportunity.



Part of your day to day duties will be;

To carry out relevant trade duties as instructed by the Team Leader or Working Charge Hand. To carry out plumbing work to properties to a high standard.. This will include working at height safely.
To plan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensure the best service to customers.

Candidate Requirements:

The post requires a NVQ level 3 or equivalent trade qualification A proven track record in housing, construction and refurbishment The post may involve a significant level of manual handling and standing for prolonged periods Candidates should possess a sound knowledge of other trades, and demonstrate a versatile approach to mulit-skilling The successful applicant for the role must be disciplined, IT literate, flexible and have a can do attitude


Appointment to the post would be subject to a pre-employment medical questionnaire being completed.
