Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires hands-on experience with plumbing tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform welding tasks as required for pipe fittings and repairs. Conduct assembly of plumbing fixtures and systems according to specifications. Carry out carpentry work related to plumbing installations when necessary. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely during installations and repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools and materials to job sites.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to plumbing tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems effectively. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations related to plumbing work. Experience in welding techniques applicable to plumbing applications is advantageous. Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations is a plus. Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Valid commercial driving licence preferred for transporting equipment.
