Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be proficient in various related tasks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues within plumbing systems. Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Collaborate with other tradespeople for projects requiring carpentry or mechanical knowledge. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
