We are looking for a new engineer to join our team, you will be provided with a van and fuel card for use within working hours, and will also be paid an hourly rate, your main duties will be as a reactive engineer attending plumbing and heating/ hot water issues, this position will be permanent employment upon successful completion of a probation period. The majority or work is in Manchester, Hulme

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing faults and replacement of central heating components in domestic properties, Carry out gas safety inspections / CP12 Carry out repairs to basic plumbing items within commercial and domestic properties. Conform to relevant technical standards Ensure inspections are recorded and faults reported in strict accordance with company, client and regulatory guidelines. Meet customer and contract expectations by carrying out works in a timely manner to a high standard.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Mechanical and electrical components associated with repairs and installation works. Thorough knowledge in domestic heating systems. Able to safely isolate and perform repairs on wet heating systems and controls of. Pragmatic, efficient and confident approach to decision-making. Being organized, keeping your workplace clean and tidy. Able to thoroughly examine and investigate issues that arise and subsequently complete reports on findings with recommendations to resolve and fix the issue(s). Planning, prioritizing, coordinating, multi-tasking and completing work assignments within deadlines in a busy environment

Be flexible in their work approach to working hours. May be asked to work outside of normal working hours as and when required for our client to meet its commitments to its contracts. This may be the participation in an 'out of hours' call out rota. Be Gas registered Be fluent in English Have a full driving licence UK.

Pay: 14.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 - 45 per week
