We are seeking a skilled Plumber's Mate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and related trades, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out plumbing tasks. Perform welding as needed for pipe fittings and connections. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or required repairs. Assemble and install various plumbing components according to specifications. Apply basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects. Engage in carpentry work when necessary to support plumbing installations. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely as required during installations or repairs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools and materials to job sites.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations. Capability of heavy lifting as needed for various tasks. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
