Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbers mate/Trainee to join our dynamic team in Newark. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of plumbing systems that support our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Shadow existing engineers in heat pump installations. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading and other plumbing techniques as required. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure project completion. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client needs. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for plumbing.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plumbers mate/trainee. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading techniques. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
