We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across various commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and associated pipework Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and mechanical knowledge Carry out welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly tasks as required during installations or repairs Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently Read technical drawings and schematics to guide installation or repair work Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used Ensure all work complies with current safety regulations and industry standards Assist with the training of junior team members when necessary

Experience

Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the mechanical or plumbing industry Skilled in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly tasks Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heating installations and repairs Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and system calculations Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential Familiarity with working on both residential and commercial heating systems is preferred
