Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Duties

Install, service, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and associated plumbing Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation of heating equipment Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks effectively Perform welding and assembly work as required for system modifications or repairs Carry out plumbing tasks related to heating systems, ensuring compliance with building regulations Utilise carpentry skills for minor modifications or adjustments in installation sites Handle heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely and efficiently Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role within the industry Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems and related components Ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately for measurements and adjustments Physical fitness to undertake heavy lifting and work in confined spaces or at heights if necessary Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving tasks Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC or plumbing are desirable but not essential

Pay: 120.00-200.00 per day
