We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Heating Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in mostly commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating equipment. Assemble and install components using hand tools and power tools. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople and clients, to complete projects effectively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the mechanical field. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for installations. Experience with Air Conditioning and Air Handling units would be advantageous Must have a current DBS or be prepared to apply for a DBS prior to commencing employment. A valid driver's license is essential for travel between job locations.
