We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Heating Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all heating systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers and radiators.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating equipment.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out installations and repairs.
Perform welding tasks as required for system installations.
Plumb new heating systems according to specifications.
Assemble components of heating systems with precision.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring safe handling practices.
Experience
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex heating systems.
Full clean UK driving licence (work van provided)
Must be qualified with gas safe register
Basic math skills are essential for measuring and calculating requirements for installations.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
