We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Duties
Install, service, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
Troubleshoot issues with heating equipment using specialised tools and diagnostic techniques.
Carry out welding and assembly tasks as required for system modifications or repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment to complete installation and repair work accurately.
Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or maintenance procedures.
Assist with carpentry tasks related to housing or securing heating components.
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of equipment and materials to various sites.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all operations to minimise risks.
Skills
Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems and related infrastructure.
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and system specifications.
Capable of heavy lifting safely and efficiently handling large or bulky components.
Experience in commercial driving with a valid licence preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
