Job title: Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Salary: 36,000 - 38,500 per annum + Overtime

Location: Covering Hull, York & Surrounding Areas

Hours: Full time - 40hrs per week

Rix Gas Services are a local business that provide all-encompassing boiler service, repair and installation solutions throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire as well as York and surrounding areas. We're part of the Rix Group - a family-run business with a strong reputation for reliability, customer care, and technical expertise.

Following a period of sustained growth and demand for our services, we are seeking an additional Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join the business. We invest heavily into our team of engineers to ensure that we are at the forefront of innovation and that each member of staff is equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience to provide a seamless quality of service.

As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:

Install boilers to a high standard and/or service and repair boilers competently in line with manufacturers specifications. Diagnosing faults and carrying out maintenance and safety checks Responding to breakdowns and emergency callouts
The successful candidate will have:

Essential:

At least 5 years of plumbing, heating and gas experience Proven experience working with oil boilers or OFTEC qualified Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Polite, professional, and customer-focused Able to work independently and manage your own time Full UK driving licence
Desirable:

A good level of knowledge regarding wiring, including S and Y plans would be desirable but not essential
Package:
