Job Description

Southern Energy Group is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Gas Safe Registered Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a highly skilled engineer with a minimum of 7 years' experience in domestic plumbing, gas, and heating work. You must be confident delivering premium-quality installations and exceptional customer service, with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be experienced and capable in:

Installations

High-end bathroom installations (first fix, second fix & finishing) Boiler installations (combi, system, regular) Full heating and hot water system installations Radiator replacements, system upgrades & pipework alterations General plumbing installations and repairs
Servicing & Repairs

Boiler servicing & safety checks Diagnosing and repairing boiler and heating faults Hot water cylinder servicing/repairs (vented & unvented) General plumbing maintenance and fault finding
Additional Skills

Basic electrical knowledge (boiler wiring, controls, wiring centres) Understanding of heating controls & smart thermostats Ability to work independently and maintain high workmanship standards Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to complete accurate job notes and documentation
Requirements

Minimum 7 years of plumbing & heating experience Valid Gas Safe registration (or ability to be added to our registration) NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating Full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK
