We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing, and the use of various hand and power tools. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, physical fitness for heavy lifting, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Duties
Install, service, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and associated pipework.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
Assist with plumbing tasks related to heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Excellent Out of hours and overtime pay.
This position will be better suited for an individual who is hungry for overtime and out of hours.
Requirements
Proven experience in heating system installation, maintenance, or repair.
S & Y Plan wiring expert
Underfloor heating system repair
Hiu repairs
Booster pump fault finding and repair
Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of complex heating systems.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Valid driving licence suitable.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. Candidates should be physically fit, safety-conscious, organised, and eager to contribute their expertise to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high standards of service in heating engineering.
