We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair various heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance and safety standards.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and mechanical knowledge.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Work with plumbing components to ensure proper connections and system integrity.
Read technical drawings and schematics to guide installation processes.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project.
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during site visits.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role within the HVAC or plumbing industry.
Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly tasks.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex heating systems.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical diagrams.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
