Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team - not just as an employee but as key part of the business. Your input will be valued, and you will have significant control over the heating side of the business, helping to shape its direction and growth.

The ideal candidate will require proven experience as a heating engineer, with a solid understanding of heating systems, installations and repairs. A passion for renewable energy and a willingness to expand your knowledge into sustainable technologies are required. You will need to possess strong problem-solving skills ands have a high attention to detail. Good physical fitness are required due to lifting and working on your feet for extended periods, as well as working at height and in confined spaces. A valid clean driving licence is needed.

Duties

Installation and maintenance of renewable heating systems, primarily heat source pumps. Working on domestic retrofit projects to upgrade energy systems for our customers. Diagnosing and resolving heating system issues. Supporting the integration of renewable technologies like solar PV and battery systems. Taking an active role in decision-making and influencing the development of the heating side of the business.

Experience

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Good communication skills. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
