Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools and plumbing tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
Conduct routine inspections of heating units to identify faults or potential issues before failure occurs.
Perform mechanical work including assembly, disassembly, and modification of heating components.
Carry out heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each job.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety guidelines.
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of equipment or materials when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer or similar role within the trade.
Proficiency in plumbing and assembly work is essential.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and basic maths for measurements and calculations.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment confidently.
Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in confined or awkward spaces.
Valid UK driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in heating systems, plumbing, or mechanical trades are mandatory.
