Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, fully qualified self-employed Plumbing & Heating Engineer to support our busy team on a subcontract basis. The role is varied and may include installations, maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and project/site work across domestic, commercial, new-build, and development sites. You'll work independently most of the time, with occasional collaboration with our engineers, while upholding the Zone Heating values: honesty, reliability, and professionalism.

Competitive day rate to be agreed based on skills and availability
Key Responsibilities
Undertake a wide range of plumbing and heating tasks
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
Support installation and project based/site work as required
Maintain clear communication and excellent service with customers
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Skills Required
Strong plumbing and heating knowledge with minimum 5 years' experience
Ability to work confidently on varied plumbing and heating systems
Good customer facing and communication skills
Reliable, organised, and able to manage your own workload
Comfortable working independently or with our team
Full UK driving licence and own transport (you may need to make your own way to jobs)
Personal Qualities

Qualifications Required
Fully qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
Additional heating qualifications (e.g., unvented cylinders) are an advantage
Gas Safe registration is beneficial but not essential
Additional Information
Certain tools can be provided if required, although no van is supplied
