Heating Engineer
or
Gas Engineer
who wants to
develop renewable energy skills

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Heating
or
Gas Engineer
ready to expand into the
renewable heating sector
. You'll work across a mix of domestic and commercial projects, combining your traditional heating expertise with new, sustainable technologies.
We'll support you every step of the way with structured training, manufacturer courses, and hands-on learning -- helping you become a
dual-skilled Renewables & Heating Engineer
.
Key Responsibilities
(Depending on experience)
Install, service, and commission
air-source heat pumps
and
gas heating systems
.
Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and safely.
Carry out
maintenance, testing, and compliance checks
to industry standards.
Collaborate with heating, electrical, and design teams on project delivery.
Ensure all work meets
MCS, OFGEM, GasSafe, RECC
, and
health & safety
requirements.
Complete accurate service reports, documentation, and handovers.
Provide excellent customer service and uphold company values on site.
What We're Looking For
? Proven experience as a
Gas Engineer
or
Heating Engineer.
? Strong understanding of
plumbing and heating systems
, controls, and fault-finding.
? Willingness to
train in renewables
(full support and training provided).
? Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Full
UK driving licence
.
Desirable Qualifications
F-Gas, G3 (unvented), or relevant plumbing/heating certifications (advantageous but not essential).
Experience with
heat pumps, underfloor heating
, or
renewable systems
(advantageous but not essential).
Familiarity with
both domestic and commercial
heating systems.
