Plumbing and Heating Sales Assistant

Hours 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 6.30am - 3.30pm

This is a great opportunity for a Plumbing and Heating Sales Assistant to join our busy branch, supplying a wide range of plumbing and building materials. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll provide expert product advice, process transactions, and help keep the trade counter running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with plumbing product inquiries and provide expert advice. Process orders accurately, handle invoicing, and manage payments efficiently. Replenish stock on the shop floor and participate in regular stock counts. Assist with deliveries to and from the store. Handle telephone inquiries effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues. Respond positively and promptly to customer needs.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of plumbing materials is essential. Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers. Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
