Plumbing and Drainage Engineer (evening position)

32,000 per annum plus benefits

Full time, permanent

Evening & On-call hours only

Metro Rod work with the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we'll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage.


Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.


Our territory is Southeast based, covering postcodes: RM, SS, CM, CO and IP.


We are looking for an experienced Plumber and Drainage Engineer for the evening on call position. You will carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including but not limited to; installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders etc. Also, all aspects of drainage work, including clearing blockages via the use of rods, EMC machines and HWPJ machines. Also repairing or replacing above ground waste traps and pipes.

What we expect from you:

High pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience Surveying experience Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic & commercial drainage Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude Want to be part of a growing and progressive business Be willing to work some unsociable hours Full UK driving licence
