Water and Sustainability Technician Team Leader (Plumbing)

Location:

Our Head Office is in Derby DE21 but you will primarily work 'on the road'. You must be able to travel to sites as required around the UK from your home location (travel expenses are paid).

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, 52 weeks)

Requirement:

Full, clean UK driving licence.

What You'll Be Doing:



Leading a Team:

Supervise and support a team of plumbing technicians, ensuring efficient project completion and high-quality workmanship.

Project Planning & Oversight:

Conduct initial site surveys, coordinate project schedules, and manage resources effectively.

Installation & Technical Support:

Install water-saving equipment, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Data & Reporting:

Use smartphone apps for scheduling, reporting, and documenting completed work accurately.

Mentorship & Development:

Train and mentor team members, providing technical advice and fostering a positive team culture.

What We're Looking For:



Proven Leadership & Plumbing Experience:

A strong background in plumbing with demonstrated leadership experience.

Technical Expertise:

Comprehensive understanding of water systems, tools, and techniques.

Organised & Detail-Oriented:

Strong time management and organisational skills.

Effective Communicator:

Ability to build strong client and team relationships with a professional approach.

Problem-Solver:

Proactive and adaptable when faced with on-site challenges.

Willing to Travel:

Comfortable with nationwide travel, including overnight stays, with all expenses fully covered.

Salary



Salary Scale 29,000 - 32,000 per annum

Employment is subject to satisfactory checks: DBS, right to work, and references.
