Job Description

We are a dynamic and innovative private training provider committed to expanding and enhancing our apprenticeship offerings. With a strong emphasis on leadership, growth, and aligning with company values, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Plumbing Trainer. This role is key in supporting the business with delivery across the Plumbing short course and/or apprenticeship provisions of the company providing high-quality delivery and support to learners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing learner progress, and providing support to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and industry requirements. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels of experience. Assess and evaluate learner progress through assignments, practical assessments, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their goals. Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and achievements. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the curriculum remains relevant. Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching materials and methods. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:



Qualified Plumber Level 3 with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent). A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry standards. Team player who collaborates well and supports the business's goals and desires.

Desirable:



Experience with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools. Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1).
