Plumbing/Heating Engineer - Employed / Self - Employed

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, self motivated, positive and hardworking engineer to join our growing Plumbing and Heating team. The role requires excellent communication skills, working with a variety of different people in an ever changing environment. Your work schedule will be supported and your daily operations will scheduled for you in your diary from the office team. You will have remote software to access your diary and record job descriptions/ feedbacks/comments.

Responsibilities

The Engineer will be responsible for performing various tasks. You will be required to carry out boiler service's, repair and maintenance jobs of Gas appliances and heating systems, along with general plumbing tasks including bathroom, kitchen and general pipework. Whilst adhering to health and safety regulations and gas standards. Key tasks include but not all: Installation of gas appliances, carrying out gas safety checks, Fault finding and diagnostic on boilers and gas appliances. Domestic is a must and commercial is an advantage. If you have oil, mcs or commercial qualifications we have the opportunities to carry out these jobs also.

Qualifications/SkillsRelevant Qualifications (Domestic required commercial desirable)
Full UK Driving License
Strong customer focus and good communication skills
Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Previous experience in similar role (2 + years in domestic gas)
Experience in managing Own workload
Experience in plumbing maintenance

Language:

English (preferred)Work authorisation
United Kingdom (required)
