Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse infrastructure developments while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality electrical solutions in a timely manner.

Duties



Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Diagnosing electrical faults using specialised tools and applying appropriate repair techniques. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting. Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Using hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform installations and repairs. Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Documenting work performed and preparing reports for project managers or clients. Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications



Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters. Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices within the industry. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
