What you'll be doing?





The Building Safety Unit's (BSU) Programme Management Office (PMO) team supports the delivery of a large remediation programme across BDW's legacy portfolio. It is responsible for ensuring that programme governance, data and processes are robust and can support the successful delivery of a lengthy programme with a large number of complex projects.


We are looking for a PMO Analyst that can support the implementation of BSU and PMO policies and procedures, with a specific focus on projects that are in remediation. You will provide a check and challenge function to ensure that projects are accurately scheduled and planned for; that performance is accurately tracked, audited and reported on; and that the BSU Construction team is well supported, all to enable remediation to take place at pace and in line with BSU objectives.


Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will be expected to:


Assist in the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables. Track project performance and provide regular status updates, including ensuring deadlines and milestones are met and documented in line with the project standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules. Support BSU project managers with documentation and reporting. Facilitate project status and other related meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring of actions. Identify and escalate risks and issues to the PMO Manager. Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned. Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports.

What you'll need?




While experience of working in construction, housing or building remediation would be beneficial, it is not essential. To be successful in this role we are looking for a personable, pro-active team player with:


Experience of handling multiple projects at one time, including the ability to plan, execute, control and close projects. High level IT skills, particularly in Excel, project management tools such as Asta PowerProject, and data visualisation tools such as PowerBI. Strong skills in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the evolving demands of the BSU. The ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and a commitment to exceptional customer care and service. Self-discipline and demonstrably good time management skills with the ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Excellent written/oral communication skills. A commitment to personal learning and development.
