What you'll be doing?




Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will effectively manage the processes, functions and supporting team to bring to a conclusion issues affecting historical Barratt developments, primarily associated with fire risk.

Responsibilities include:
Manage work-streams associated with enquires, risks, claims and remediation of historical Barratt developments, including: + Preparation of planned resolution of building issues and concerns.
+ Evaluate and provide a strategy for the resolution of Stakeholder enquiries from general information through to large-scale claims.
+ Planning and programming of key stages
+ Evaluate and determine risk profile of historic Barratt developments
+ Consultant appointment
+ Preparation and management of project budgets
Resolve technical enquires from: + Customer Care, Managing Agents, RTM's, Local Authorities, Fire Authorities

What you'll need?




To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
Degree level qualification in a construction technical discipline (Architect, Engineer, Fire Engineer, etc.) Experience in the construction of various EWS and EWI on multi storey residential buildings. Good working knowledge of Part B (Fire Safety) of the Building Regulations and associated Approved Documents. Working knowledge of the MHCLG Building Safety Advice for Building Owners Working knowledge of the RICS EWS1, scheme and its application. Knowledge of standards covering EWS materials and their construction. Good research skills. A focus on accuracy Good communicator both written and verbal Able to work with little supervision #
