Ensure adequate governance structures are set up for every project and programme; create the standard terms of reference and reports and review the governance arrangements for projects to ensure they are in accordance with standards and working effectively.
Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, milestones ,deliverables, commercials and support benefit realisation. Prepare regular status reports and dashboards for senior management.
Data Analysis: Analyse project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to project managers and stakeholders.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure that projects adhere to established governance frameworks and compliance standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of project management methodologies.
Resource Management: Support resource allocation and capacity planning. Monitor resource utilisation and provide recommendations for optimisation.
Risk, Assumption, Issue & Dependency (RAID) Management: Identify, assess, and monitor project RAID items. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans .
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management. Organise and participate in project meetings and reviews.
Documentation and Administration: Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and risk registers. Ensure that all project records are up-to-date and accessible.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits. Identify areas for improvement and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools. Share best practices and lessons learned across the organisation.

This is a highly important role within our Governance, Perfomance & Engagement portfolio, which means you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
Experienced user of MS SharePoint and Teams for the purposes of distributing communications; MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other appropriate management tools
Demonstrated experience of PowerBI or other reporting tools
An understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a user and support perspective

Drive to make improvement and overcome barriers and obstacles
Drives team engagement to foster accountability and ownership
