Role Overview

We are looking for a

PMO professional who combines strong governance and reporting skills with a proactive, delivery-oriented mindset

. This role goes beyond traditional PMO tasks, requiring someone who can

support and occasionally lead project streams

, act as a trusted advisor, and ensure alignment between project execution and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Standards:

Maintain project frameworks, templates, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Project Support & Leadership:

Assist Project Managers and, when needed, take ownership of smaller initiatives or workstreams.

Planning & Coordination:

Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, and dependencies.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and executive summaries for senior stakeholders.

Risk & Issue Management:

Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues proactively.

Financial Oversight:

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Communicate effectively with business and technical teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Continuous Improvement:

Recommend enhancements to PMO processes and tools.

Ideal Profile

Experience:

4-6+ years in PMO roles with exposure to

project delivery

responsibilities.

Industry:

Financial services or banking experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to

step into a PM role when required

Methodologies:

Familiarity with

Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMP

.

Tools:

MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Power BI.

Education:

Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; PM certifications desirable.

Working Model

Hybrid:

2-3 days per week onsite in London offices

, remainder remote.
