In this role you will support the Programme Management Office (PMO) team in the tracking and reporting of the status of projects, programmes and business initiatives to ensure that they deliver to milestones and maintaining delivery standards.
The Ideal candidate:
You will have an in depth understanding of project lifecycles and be a proactive individual, keen to solve problems and have a focus on the detail.
Key skills and experience:
Strong interpersonal skills, to communicate clearly with both external customers and internal company stakeholders.
Experience of being involved with small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle.
An understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Highly organised and detail conscious approach.
History of delivering on time sensitive projects.
Prince 2 Foundation and/or PMOC (Programme Office Certification) (or be prepared to work towards achieving this).
Experience within a Healthcare or Telecommunications solutions development environment (advantageous).

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Coordinating communications from the PMO, including reporting cycle requests and collation of reports and data; building and maintaining a central hub of project folders, documents, templates and knowledge to help inform future developments and support Project Managers.
Preparing and distributing project data from project reports for monthly PMO and Steering Group reviews; maintaining and following up on action logs from these meetings
Updating and administering the programme plan using reports from Project Managers, the outcomes of projects, as well as information from board level meetings and workshops.
Maintaining the portfolio-level risk and benefits registers.
Providing support to Project Managers on large-scale projects, ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date.
Collaborating with the PMO Programme Manager to develop and maintain a Project Standards guide: seeking inputs from Project Managers, QA Team, Development teams and Service Implementation leads.
Organising workshops to identify areas of improvement for projects and presenting them to the PMO Programme Manager.
