Role Summary:



We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as

This role requires a dynamic and results-driven Director of Project Management Office (PMO) to lead and evolve our project management capabilities across the organization.

This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives spanning new product development, major operational transformations (e.g., factory relocations), and enterprise IT implementations (e.g., ERP systems).

The Director of PMO will be responsible for establishing and enforcing project governance, driving execution excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance across cross-functional project teams

Key Job Responsibilities:



The PMO Director leads a team of project managers and is accountable for governance, delivery performance, and scope management across the project portfolio. The roles main responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

Define and lead the strategic direction of the PMO in alignment with corporate goals. Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development within the PMO. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across products, operations, and IT domains. Develop and enforce standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates. Lead project reviews, stage gates, and post-implementation evaluations. Function as the central point of coordination between business units, engineering, operations, and IT. Facilitate effective communication and alignment between project teams and executive sponsors.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred). Experience in project/program management & leadership roles. Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in manufacturing, electronics, or technology sectors. Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, operational transformation, and enterprise IT systems (e.g., ERP). PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
