We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to join us to set up the Program Management Office (PMO) to drive delivery of the new business initiative. This role is for an experienced, disciplined, delivery-focused, and pro-active Project Lead who has demonstrated execution of multiple digital product business in a scaled agile delivery framework.

Responsibilities:

  • You\'re a good fit if you thrive in ambiguous and complex environments while fostering relationships, which promote outreach and engagement
  • As a Program Management Office (PMO) lead, you will set up PMO for this new business initiative and play a central role in the fast-paced delivery of key programs that are both cross-organization and highly visible
  • This role would work in a range of capacities to lead delivery of new business initiative, from supporting strategic planning for multi-year technology roadmaps, portfolio management and program governance, to managing program progress
  • Create, maintain and communicate a detailed and organised project plan that documents delivery milestones, decisions, and risks. This will involve monitoring and tracking the work of Product teams, Operational teams and other cross-organizational partners
  • Ensure that Projects are delivered according to an agreed scope and on time
  • Communicate to a wide range of stakeholders and client teams, aligning them to the delivery strategy and ensuring shared understanding of reporting and desired outcomes
  • Influence product teams to adopt PMO practices and improve ways of working with pragmatism
Skills/ Qualifications should include:
  • Focused attention to detail with the ability to toggle between macro and micro views (frequently)
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Strong end-to-end problem-solving skills including deconstructing problems, prioritizing issues, structuring analysis, identifying implications, and proposing solutions
  • Self-starter and contributor, who can learn to connect dots at the organization, strategy, program and project levels
  • Excels at collaborating cross-functionally and able to mobilize, encourage, and push projects forward without direct management authority
  • Led and supported multidisciplinary teams that have included engineers, designers, developers and product managers
  • Bring a history of championing Lean/Agile ways of working, adapting to delivery frameworks and recommending improvements without being dogmatic
  • Used delivery data to forecast key deliverables and communicate a project\'s status clearly with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Experience of the Atlassian toolset Jira and Confluence is a must
  • Superior judgment to mitigate risk and foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated, and creative solutions are identified
