Job Description

Overview:

The PMO Lead will oversee the Project Management Office, ensuring governance, coordination, and delivery support across multiple projects. This role is critical for maintaining project standards, managing resources, and providing strategic oversight during the maternity cover period.
Responsibilities:
Lead PMO operations and ensure adherence to governance frameworks. Coordinate projects and align delivery with organisational objectives. Develop and maintain resourcing models and oversee resource planning. Conduct project health checks and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) reviews. Manage forecasting and capacity planning for project delivery. Prepare and manage Project Board meetings, including agendas, updates, and tracking follow-up actions. Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders (POs) and requisitions. Provide guidance and support to PMO Analysts and project teams. Ability to lead PMO team members, providing advice and guidance to ensure effective performance and development. Review and improve PMO processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and enhanced governance. Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, reporting, and governance standards.



Qualifications:
Desirable Certifications: MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2

Essential skills:
Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in coaching and guiding team members Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Experience:
Proven experience in PMO leadership or senior project coordination roles. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices within PMO functions
